Bernie Sanders On Thanksgiving
Bob Lefsetz on Thanksgiving
“I know, I know, you’re not supposed to discuss politics, or religion, on Thanksgiving.”
No, you’re not supposed to discuss politics or religion on a music and entertainment blog. Doing so on Thanksgiving just makes it worse.
But you obviously do not care. You’re going to preach your left coast hippie politics to your subscribers whether they like it or not.
“I’m sick and tired of everybody pulling punches, putting their finger to the wind before speaking, afraid of angering some potential constituency.”
So are we! That’s why we elected Donald Trump! And that’s why Democrats and the left wing despise him so – he doesn’t pull any punches.
“And I’m open-minded, I read what the writers have to say, but then I turn to the NYT and the WaPo.”
Oh, yeah – you’re “open-minded” – you read what others say, but always revert back to the left wing WaPo for your confirmation bias. That is NOT what “open-minded” means.
“Because I just can’t help myself. I want a better America. I want a better world. I want to take care of others. We can’t make it alone.”
Reverend Bob wants a better world – who doesn’t? So start a political blog and ask your subscribers to sign-up. While you fly around the world and hob nob with the rich and famous, staying in first class hotels and eating at fancy restaurants, spare those of us uneducated losers in flyover country your weekly political rants on behalf of the poor and mistreated souls in America.
Or at least have a little integrity and “help yourself” to restrain from this bait and switch where you offend and insult people who signed-up for your newsletter to hear about music, arts and entertainment.
Just STOP it!
Your point of view caught my eye and was very interesting. Thanks. I have a question for you.
