When it comes to music, you are a genius. You understand and write about artists and music culture with more insight than anyone else I know. That’s why I subscribe to your newsletter.

I did NOT sign up to hear your rants about politics – it’s NOT your specialty, it’s not your background, it’s not your wheelhouse. If you want to be a Social Justice Warrior, start a new blog to express your naive left wing
opinions. Jay Z as a spokesman for African-Americans, the downtrodden and the poor? He’s worth more than $610 million dollars!

It’s not about the flag?

“I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color,” Kaepernick told NFL Media”

This from a multi-millionaire who was adopted and raised by a white family who had never voted in any election, even for Obama. The hypocrisy is astounding.

“The old white people want to keep you down.”

What an ignorant generalization based upon stereotyping and profiling. I thought that was a bad thing?

“But the African-Americans want to lift you up.”

Some do, I’m sure. But I bet you don’t live in South Central.

Seriously, start a political blog or newsletter and invite people from your music newsletter to sign-up. But please stop throwing your left wing politics in our face when we come to you for music stories and information.

You won’t – because you know most people would NOT sign-up.  

So stop harassing us with your political opinions and liberal slant. It’s offensive and annoying.
