The Roe v. Wade “Decision”
Bob Lefsetz’s Original Post – “The Roe v. Wade Decision”
What a smorgasbord of Bob Lefsetz political crapola – you’ve outdone yourself with this blog post!
“Ergo Hillary Clinton. A brilliant woman who was castigated for saying she wasn’t going to stay home and bake cookies and blinked, who’s been parsing her words ever since, trying to get in touch with what people want to hear as opposed to what she wants to say.”
The lawyers doing the sorting for Secretary Clinton in 2014 did not individually read the content of all of her e-mails, as we did for those available to us; instead, they relied on header information and used search terms to try to find all work-related e-mails among the reportedly more than 60,000 total e-mails remaining on Secretary Clinton’s personal system in 2014. After Clinton was asked about the 33,000 deleted emails, she said:
Asked if she wiped her email server, Clinton says, ‘What, like with a cloth?’
This is your “brilliant woman”!
“I want to talk about the American people.
Ever since Ronald Reagan the national mentality has changed. It’s become about the individual as opposed to society. And almost one half of the population believes that they deserve to be free of the government, even though they drive on its roads and use its Medicare and…the funny thing is these people are first in line for government handouts when a disaster hits their area, which seems to be happening with more frequency because their God was supposed to take care of climate change and so far he hasn’t shown up.”
They “drive on its roads” and “use its Medicare” because they helped pay for it all through gasoline and property taxes they agreed to pay for via the democratic republic system of government in America. And Medicare taxes come directly out of your paycheck, if you are working for a living and paying income taxes. And yet, 49% of all income earners pay ZERO income taxes. Disaster relief is not a handout, but is also funded through the democratic process and paid for via federal income taxes, that almost one half of the population does NOT contribute to. And whatever your opinion of God, he or she is not going to “show up” to “take care” of climate problems, earthquakes, and forest fires.
“So I feel hopeless. But truth is now debatable, facts are fungible and too many people live in silos unexposed, never mind unaffected, by a contrary opinion, which in many cases is the truth.”
What do you expect when your President tells the world, “We choose truth over facts.”
“So, have you ever been exposed to abortion? Maybe you’ve even had one yourself. God, I don’t know how you can live in these United States without being caught in the conundrum.”
I’m going to guess that Bob Lefsetz has never had an abortion…
“A friend of mine in college had sex once and the woman got pregnant. Thank god she could get an abortion, she flew to New York and had the procedure.”
I’m not sure you should be thanking God for the taking of a fetal life. What IF you and your abortion-first wankers are wrong and life really DOES begin at conception? We don’t really know – but it’s quite possible that many millions of lives were lost when your friend in college and others chose to not wear a condom.
“Yes, you’re not supposed to have the abortion, but then you end up a single mother and are derided. And you can’t get a reasonable job because you don’t have a college degree. And there are too many people in our country and they’re takers. Yes, have that kid, but don’t depend on the government to help you.”
You have obviously never had children, but calling having children a “mistake” shows how narrow-minded you are. Nobody should deride single mothers, whether it’s a result of an unplanned pregnancy where both participants chose to NOT use condoms or any kind of birth control or the result of a divorce or death of a parent. But there are plenty of good-paying jobs available to people without college degrees and there is a lot of government help available, whether it’s welfare, Obamacare, or WIC programs.
“You made one mistake and you need to pay for it for the rest of your life.”
Well, maybe for 18 years or so, but certainly not the “rest of your life”.
“As for those railing against abortion, dig deep and you’ll find they’ve had the procedure, or their loved ones have. Talk about the hypocrisy.”
Statistics and data please? You’re saying that the only people opposed to abortion are those who have had one? Now THAT is hypocrisy!
“And it’s not the man’s decision, despite old white men telling women what to do.”
“Old white men”? Who started Planned Parenthood? Margaret Sanger, of course – an old white women, who wrote in 1939:
“Minorities crammed into impoverished areas in inner cities should not be having so many babies. And, of course, these minorities (including most of America’s immigrants) are inferior in the human race, as are the physically and mentally handicapped.”
Sanger also wrote in a 1939 letter to an ally: “We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population.”
Margaret Sanger founded Planned Parenthood
We can estimate that the number of black abortion between 1965 and 2018 equaled:
“18,700,000 (42% of current population)”
I guess unborn black lives DON’T matter!
“Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, strived for a society that limited births to those she deemed fit to have children.
Critics call her a racist eugenics promoter who targeted black communities with her Planned Parenthood clinics.
“Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, once said colored people are like weeds; they need to be exterminated,” Dr. Alveda King, director of Civil Rights for the Unborn, once told CBN News.
“People don’t understand that 79 percent of abortion clinics are located in minority communities and that minority communities shoulder a disproportionate number of abortions.”

“I’ve had that experience where the period didn’t come.”
“Ever since then I’ve been the contraceptive police. I don’t care if you’re bleeding, I don’t care what the day is in your cycle, we need protection, I never want to be in that situation again.”
Now THAT is good advice! Take responsibility for your own decisions and actions.
“As for adoption… I don’t know a single case of adoption that worked out close to those raised by their natural parents.”
“Being adopted can be one of the best things to happen to a kid. People who adopt tend to be wealthier than other parents, both because of self-selection and because of the adoption screening process. Adoptive parents tend to be better-educated and put more effort into raising their kids, as measured by things like eating family meals together, providing the child with books, and getting involved in their schools.”
And from the liberal NPR news network:
“According to the most extensive national data ever collected on adopted children and their families in the United States, the vast majority of adopted children are in good health and fare well on measures of social and emotional well being. Eighty-five percent of them are reported, by their parents, to be in excellent or very good health. And 88 percent of adopted children age 6 and older show positive social behaviors.”

Of course, you can’t send out a newsletter without some Trump-bashing nonsense:
“Did you read the exposé on Trump’s business practices/taxes in the “New York Times”? I read every word, and I’m a lawyer and can understand it. And this guy is gonna skate completely, after undervaluing assets, funneling them through his kids. If I did one tenth of what Trump did I’d be in jail right now. But the rules don’t apply to him. He said this when he was running, but it didn’t make any difference, he was speaking up for the little guy, oh give me a break.”
And this is the worst kind of homophobia:
“…every family has a gay member. If you don’t think so then you don’t know, someone has not come out.”
Again, according to the liberal NPR news network:
“…about 3.8 percent self-identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender.”

“What’s next, scarlet letters around women’s necks? Stocks?”
That’s quite a leap, even for you! There are numerous means of contraception available today, but your only response to people unwilling to take precautions is free-for-all abortions or a return to stocks, burning witches at the stake and scarlet letters.
“But I’m preaching to the choir.
But the right wing pays attention. Believe me, I’ll get more e-mails from them. They’re the correction factor, trying to make the rest of us afraid to speak up.”
You should NEVER be afraid to speak up. But you SHOULD be expected to back-up your Republican-bashing and political nonsense with statistics and facts.
“These old white men are taking away your rights willy-nilly to satiate religious zealots and those who want whatever the left doesn’t want.”
More racist tripe from old white guy millionaire Bob Lefsetz…
