The Kaepernick Shoe
What kind of crazy, fucked-up world do we live in where a millionaire music blogger starts out every other newsletter with, “What kind of crazy, fucked-up world do we live in where…”?
In what possible way is that supposed to impress us?
Your subscribers sign up to read about your insight into the music and entertainment industry. And you ARE an expert in that field.
Somehow, you think this automatically makes you an expert about politics, and so you harangue your fans a couple of times each week with your left coast Democratic propaganda and left wing talking points. You seem to forget what you once told us:
“Being a politician is a profession. Michael Jordan proved that being the best basketball player of all time didn’t make him a world class baseball player.”
So today you continue to heap praise on Colin Kaepernick – a millionaire black kid who was adopted and raised by a white family – for his stand against “black oppression”. Nike sees a marketing opportunity and a target market and uses his name as a way to sell overpriced shoes to victims of “black oppression”. Meanwhile, Kaepernick is not good enough to be hired by ANY NFL team.
“Scratch a millennial or a member of Gen-Z and you’ll find they’re militant about climate change, it’s not only Greta Thunberg, whom Trump made fun of.”
Greta Thunberg should NOT be taken seriously.
“Greta began suffering from depression as a child, by her own admission, in part because she learned about climate change at age 8. She was later diagnosed with autism and obsessive compulsive disorder and gradually became despondent as she obsessed over her fear of climate change. She developed mutism and an eating disorder so severe that she once went two months without food, and she stopped going to school.”
Millennials might be militant about climate change, but it’s only because Social Justice Warriors have overtaken “climate change” as an easier way to force economic change,
You finish off your latest “what kind of crazy, fucked-up world do we live in” missive with:
“And one thing’s for sure, the wheels are turning and a change is gonna come.”
One thing’s for sure, we’re real tired of your bloviating on behalf of left wing politicians.
You think you’re a political pundit and people want to read your weekly tirades about the hoi polloi and their urgent desire for your progressive agenda? Start a political newsletter. See how many subscribers you get for that blog. Enough with the bait & switch.
Stop with the politics you know too little about.
It’s offensive, it’s annoying and it’s wrong.
