Bob Lefsetz’s Original Post – Original Sin

You were making a lot of sense at first, but then you took the turn you always do and made it into another Trump bashing propaganda piece for the left.

“…you really don’t know how cloistered Biden was, how little access anybody but his insider group had to him, and that was only a handful of people. Cabinet members? They barely saw him. There was a cabal running the country. And they massaged the info so as to not only keep Biden happy, but sometimes out of the loop.”

“And the rest of us sit at home and ask how this could have happened.”

You KNOW how it happened! The Democrats were so desperate and determined to hold on to power – and their Trump Derangement Syndrome was so strong – that they allowed a senile old man with obvious dementia, who wandered away from his podium, shook hands with ghosts, and fell over when he walked across a stage, rode a bike or climbed stairs – to assume the role of the most powerful leader on the planet, while his handlers used his autopen to sign executive orders and Congressional legislation, along with 4,245 pardons during his tenure as president.

“As far as our country?”

“If a fading man can be in charge, even though the hoi polloi can admit what he and his handlers cannot, how in the hell can we move forward and accomplish anything?”

Biden was way beyond “fading” – he was not even “present”. And while Old Joe sat in the sun on the beach, he and Harris and Mayorkas welcomed more than 12,000,000 unvetted illegal immigrants into the United States, all the while telling us that the President could do nothing about it and Mayorkas testified before Congress that our border WAS secure. 

And yet, just two weeks in office, President Trump cut illegal immigration by more than 95%

“Trump is hell-bent on destruction.”

“Did you see what I did there? I put my livelihood at risk. I’ll get e-mail castigating me for inserting a jab at Trump. They want to keep me in line. Some will unsubscribe. Others will continue to work the refs, try to make me afraid.”

Oh, yeah – we see what you did there. You took four years of lousy left wing progressive politics and incompetent Democrat politicians and flipped it for 100 days of President Trump which you succinctly describe as “hell-bent on destruction”. Your livelihood is not at risk. You’re not saying anything you haven’t said a hundred times before.

“Hell-bent on destruction” is not a little “jab” – it’s a confirmation of your own stage-four TDS you have exhibited for many years. Nobody wants to “keep you in line”. You have a First Amendment right to make a fool out of yourself. Nobody is going to “make you afraid”. It would be nice if you made a small effort to be civil, rational or intelligent, though.

“Are you afraid?”

“Seemingly everybody in America is. They’ll bloviate about this or that, but when they have anything at risk, they shut up.”

You bloviate several times a week and refuse to shut up, and good for you – that’s America! But the “hoi polloi” you constantly refer to spoke out loud and clear in the last election. Kamala “Word Salad & Border Czar” Harris was a clown and even after spending a total of $3.16 billion dollars versus $1.6 billion for Trump, American citizens of every race, religion, gender and economic status chose Donald Trump as their next president.

“That’s why we’ll never see anybody with any money stand up to Trump. Even the law firms caved. No, only those without portfolio seem to be able to speak truth to power.”

I’d love to see your documentation for that nonsense. And Bob Lefsetz has plenty of “portfolio” with his concierge medical specialists and 57 days each year on Colorado ski slopes, when he’s not hob-knobbing with the entertainment elite flying first class to conferences and events held at five star hotels around the world.

“A major Hollywood fundraiser for President Biden featuring George Clooney and Barack Obama raised at least $28 million, with some sources stating over $30 million, according to reports from June 2024. This amount was considered the largest cash haul for a one-night event in Democratic Party history at the time.”

“I don’t know what happens with the Democrats going forward. Not only did Biden single-handedly put Trump back in office, the party lost touch with the public. Everybody in the party was afraid to offend anyone. Therefore we got pronouns, an insistence that trans women should be able to play in all women’s sports… And if you crossed the line, there was an army of people to shut you down.” 

Biden did no such thing – the Democrats and the lame-stream liberal media put Trump back in office. Biden could barely find his way to the bathroom without getting lost or falling down on a flight of stairs. And the Democrats continue to promote and stand for everything that made them lose. Illegal immigrants in Los Angeles riot and burn police cars, while:

“A Los Angeles news station  anchor characterized the anti-ICE riots as “just a bunch of people having fun watching cars burn on Sunday”.

“Where is the line? Well, the funny thing is both parties think it doesn’t exist. On the right they believe in absolute free speech, which the Constitution never guaranteed.“

NOBODY is demanding “absolute free speech”, but except for a few extreme situations, all American citizens are guaranteed the right to speak their mind.

“On the left you need a cheat sheet to know how to behave, what to say, knowing that you’re going to be trashed if you get the tiniest thing wrong.”

But THAT is not free speech. That is a red line that Democrats will NOT let anyone cross! That is censorship, the type that was used by the Biden administration to coerce Facebook, Twitter and other social media outlets to censor, delete and threaten free speech on the Internet that they didn’t approve of.

“So most people tune out of politics. Believing they’re powerless.”

The majority of voters did NOT turn away from politics in 2024. They came forward in great numbers and said NO to Biden, Harris and the Democrats in a big way. It’s the left wing Democrats who are powerless now.

“The Democrats were supposed to be different. The Republicans were the party of let me keep mine and you’re on your own, stand on your own two feet. The Democrats were supposed to be the big compassionate tent. But they ended up self-dealing and losing touch with the public at large. What’s that old saying, sticks and stones will break my bones, but words will never hurt me? But in the Democratic party everybody’s moaning and crying that someone said something negative. Everybody in this book was afraid of Biden, never mind attacking his wife who was delusionally protecting him.”

FINALLY a paragraph worth reading from Mr. Lefsetz. The enormity of the betrayal of the citizens of the United States by the Biden administration and the Democratic party is hard to fully comprehend. In a world loaded up with nuclear weapons, warring nations, terrorist countries, and 12,000,000 unvetted illegal immigrants, the most powerful man in the world was a basket case while the Democrats and the administration assured us that Biden was “sharp as a tack”, and they continuingly lied through their teeth, all the while charging Donald Trump with crimes, arresting him, putting him on trial, and doing everything they could to prevent him from running for president. So much for “due process” and “free speech”…

And yet you tell us that:

“Trump is hell-bent on destruction.”

And then you take another left turn and head off the reservation:

“Are you aware of the Ukraine drone attack on Russian sites/planes?” 

Are you aware of the role the United States played in causing the Russia vs. Ukraine war? Of course not. Because you never do your homework. You rely on CNN, MSNBC, the New York Times and the Washington Post for all of your information. And they all played along with the Democrats in their version of “Weekend at Bernie’s” as they lied about the president’s deteriorating mental condition and failing health.

You own moral certainty and disdain for anyone to the right of Bernie Sanders, Jasmine Crockett or AOC is both astonishing and frightening. Get educated – stop pretending to be a political pundit. NOBODY subscribes to your bloviating blog to read about your left coast opinions and radical progressive agenda.

It’s downright scary.
