President Musk

Bob Lefsetz’s original post – President Musk

Actually, that’s more the credo of Antifa and the “Black Lives Matter” folks. I live in Minneapolis and saw police stations and private businesses burned to the ground, damaging more than $500 million dollars in property, while Governor Tim Walz sat on his hands for three days and lives were lost as our city burned. It’s reassuring to know that Vice Presidential candidate Walz nevertheless felt that placing tampon dispensers in boys bathrooms was a more important policy issue.

It’s not so much that Big Press has been excoriated, but that they have failed miserably in their mission as a free press to inform and educate the public. You are right, though – legacy media is dead. According to a recent Gallup poll:

For several years, the New York Times, the Washington Post, CNN, MSNBC and nearly ALL of the mainstream media outlets have assured us that President Biden was “sharp as a tack”, that the Russian collusion hoax and the Steele dossier were factual, and that the Hunter Biden laptop was “Russian disinformation”.

They lied, the mainstream media promoted the lies, and we now know they were 100% wrong. Thank you, New York Times, Washington Post and CNN!

Minions? Is this just a spinoff of the “Despicable Me” movies? And who is the 19 year old on Musk’s DOGE team? Too bad you couldn’t take the time to research your political rant.

This 19 year CAN code and he’s accomplished more at a young age than many others have in a lifetime, including Chuck Schumer, AOC, Elizabeth Warren and Bob Lefsetz!

You are no better than the “journalists” who get their news and information from Twitter/X, TikTok, Facebook and other social media outlets, rather than researching, investigating, and reporting the who, what, when, where and why that is supposed to be the duty and responsibility of newspapers, magazines, and broadcast and cable news networks.

Are we talking about the same Elon Musk? The guy who built PayPal, the Tesla electric automobile company, restarted the U.S. space program accomplishing things that NASA has been unable to do in the last 30 years, who developed and launched StarLink providing Internet access to people in Ukraine and hurricane victims in the southeast, and then invested $40 billion dollars to revamp and clean-up the Twitter swamp?

His own benefit? He is working with President Trump for free, trying to help clean house in a government that spends several trillion dollars a year more than it takes in, with a national debt of $37,462,434,549,043 TRILLION dollars. Every man, woman and child in the United States owes $107,361 and the annual interest alone on this debt is more than $1,042,661,384,233 trillion dollars per year.

U.S. Debt Clock

Once again, you should do some research before you bloviate nonsense like this. Let me help – don’t be so darn lazy and do your homework.

It’s actually much better than you tell your left wing fanboys it is – see the previous link and poll results. If the election was held again today, Trump would win by a larger margin than he did last November.

But let’s see if you and I can find at least a little common ground.

I’m sure the 10,000 people working with USAID do some good things. Programs to help with hunger, poverty, disasters, education, disease and vaccinations should be continued, and they will be. But surely – even a left coast liberal such as yourself – should be able to see the folly of funding some of the insane programs described above by Senator Kennedy.

Does Bob Lefsetz honestly support American taxpayers funding $2 million earmarked for sex changes in Guatemala, $20 million spent producing a new Sesame Street show in Iraq, and $164 million in USAID funding that was reportedly used to support radical organizations worldwide with $122 million of that sum allegedly going to groups aligned with foreign terrorist organizations?

Is your Trump derangement syndrome so severe that you cannot possibly see the dangers and waste involved with an unmonitored taxpayer funded agency like the USAID spending more than $40 billion dollars with no supervision or federal auditing and oversight?

How much more of YOUR tax dollars are you willing to send to terrorist organizations in other countries?
