Well, you sum these issues up nicely in your own most recent COVID-19 rant:

“The same people bitching about the exit from Afghanistan are the same ones refusing to get the vaccine. Never mind that most people are lacking expertise in both areas.”

On what basis do you claim to have any expertise in either? Did you serve your country in the military? Do you have a medical degree you have never told us about? I was vaccinated more than half  a year ago. Nevertheless, I still see a LOT of problems with the way President Biden ran away from Afghanistan with our tails between our legs and leaving behind hundreds – if not thousands – of American citizens and Afghan allies along with 38 billion dollars worth of U.S. military equipment, weapons and supplies. There is NO correlation between vaccinations and Afghanistan. It’s a false equivocation.

And yet Old Uncle Joe tells us that the Taliban:

“has been businesslike and professional in our dealings with them”.

You profile and stereotype those you disagree with and that is both offensive and inappropriate. I thought that sort of behavior was not allowed in today’s left wing “woke” community?

I know you think you are just another morally superior brave and valiant Social Justice Warrior using your music and entertainment blog to preach to the unwashed wankers and hoi polloi. You hop on your white horse several times a week and charge forth to rant to your subscribers about politics and medical science, and if anyone disagrees with you, it’s because:

“I’ve gotten your hackles up, by speaking truth” or “the public is made up of nitwits” and it’s all because of “wankers” and “the tyranny of the ignorant, and the misinformed.”

You then warn us:

“Don’t argue with me, you’re just gonna appear to be an old fogey.”

The arrogance! The overwhelming hubris! You’re a ski bum writing a music newsletter and living off of the largess of the music industry that flies you around the world and pays for first class airplane tickets and rooms at five star hotels to listen to you pontificate at their conventions and expositions. If Donald Trump had your inflated ego and unmitigated gall, he would still be president today instead of that old “wanker” Uncle Joe Biden.

You claim with absolute Lefsetz certainty is that:

“And it is a risk, higher than being killed in a car accident, by a huge multiple.”

But that is simply more of your Fake News lies and misinformation.

For people between the ages of 1 and 34, more than twice as many people died in car accidents than died from COVID-19.​

Healthy under-50s are more likely to die from a car accident or an injury than Covid-1

You quite simply do NOT know what you are talking about. Then you tell us:

“Which is why in California car insurance is mandatory. Because you might cause an accident and how will the injured party be made whole?”

I think people SHOULD get vaccinated and I got my shots six months ago. And drivers here in Minnesota are also required to have auto insurance, if they choose to drive. But they also have the right to choose to NOT drive and NOT buy insurance. Your analogy is just plain silly. Besides, heart disease continues to be the highest cause of death today.

Measured against all heart disease, Covid was about three-quarters as deadly.

And should we be shocked and surprised that seniors are more likely to die from COVID-19?​

Perhaps that is why:

“90% of people 65 and older in the United States are at least partly vaccinated against the disease.”

And this is just unmitigated nonsense:

“If Democrats started lauding smoke alarms you’ve got to know Republicans would stop installing them.” 

Your hatred of Republicans and conservatives has caused you to lose all sense of proportion, reason and logic. You lard up your music, rock & roll, and entertainment blog with so much irrational vitriol, anger, and endless ad hominem attacks, that your credibility is in free fall.

Look in the mirror – be honest with yourself and your fans, supporters and subscribers. You are NOT a political pundit. You are NOT a medical expert. And NOBODY subscribes to your blog to have you browbeat them several times a week with your Left Coast Democratic talking points and progressive liberal nonsense.

If you think I’m wrong, start up a NEW newsletter about politics and see how many subscribers you get. But stop abusing the subscribers you DO have who never asked for your left wing Rush Limbaugh impersonation.
